Sunday School is held this Sunday at 9:50 a.m. in Hunting Lodge.All children are welcome to come to this wonderful faith-filled time.

Parish Food Gathering November 9 and 16 for the holidays. Food will be gathered and go to Christmas Cheer in South Lake Tahoe for needy families in the local area.

Discerning Ministry in the Episcopal Church: Today Bible Study will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is open to all the parishioners of St. Johns. Please join us for this study.

Last Sunday of Pentecost: Please stay after church November 23 to help spruce up the church for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Supplies will be furnished.

Thanksgiving Eve Service at 7:00 p.m. November 26 (Wednesday).

First Sunday of Advent: This year, we will "green" the church on the First Sunday of Advent November 30 after the Service. On the Fourth Sunday of Advent we will put up the tree and other decorations.

Parish Brunch: Next brunch is December 5 after Service at 11:15 a.m.

Ceiling-Carpet Committee meeting December 5 during brunch.

Parish Mission in South Lake Tahoe is 5:00 p.m. at Carpenter's Union Hall (behind the American Legion) every Sunday

Parish Family Brunch today after the Service in the dining hall. Chef Mitch prepares a delicious feast. Come join us for good food and great fellowship. The suggested donation for adults is $8.00 and there is no charge for children.

Sunday School is held this Sunday at 9:50 a.m. in the Dining Hall. All children are welcome to come to this wonderful faith-filled time.

Childrens Liturgy last week was very special. Thank you to all who participated and to all the dedicated teachers. It was wonderful to see the children participate in the Service.

Parish family brunch will be next Sunday after the service on November 2nd in the dining hall. Chief Mitch prepares a delicious feast. Mark your calendar and come to join us for good food and great fellowship. The suggested donation for adults is 8.00 dollars and no charge for children.

Diocesand Convention: Episcopal Diocese of Nevada Convention will be October 23-26 in Elko. The theme is "For the Beauty of the Earth". St. John's delegates and members of clergy will be attending: Damian Adamowicz, Betty Ihfe, Bill and Teresa Schroeder and Elizabeth Tattersall. Please pray for safe travel for all delgates of the Diocese attending the convention.
